A year ago my husband and I went for rafting adventure. It was our first time for the adventure so we asked our friends about some stuff to bring and outfits to wear. They told us to wear light and comfortable clothes. Since uncle mikes light sport t-shirts and outfits were not yet available here in our area, so we just chose the comfortable clothing we think fitted for the adventure. It is important to wear light clothing because you will be soaking wet at the end of the adventure. Some of our friends also suggested wearing water proof shoes but my comfy sneakers still allowed me to enjoy the adventure.
The latest technology can be very intimidating for those who belong to the older generations – like me! Many times, during conversations, I get confused, and then totally get lost in the midst of conversations about about the latest mobile phone gadgets.
Most young people of this generation, for example, casually talk about the latest iPhone models and the numerous apps that are available for download, of course I learned, for a cost. For example, I’ve heard about an iPhone apps that can be very useful when one is lost in the desert, or even in the forest. It has GPRS; meaning, someone can actually look for you and find you with the help of the GPRS technology. So I thought it’s a good thing I don’t really enjoy going outdoors, especially in strange places.
And then there’s this talk I overheard about iPhone 3G. And I said: “what’s that?” My nephew, hearing me, answered: Duh! You don’t know what iphone 3g is? That’s unbelievable!
This is my mother in laws clutch bag. It looks like big rose flower and it looks very elegant. She first used this bag last Thursday in one of the wedding occasion of a family friend. I find this bag lovely!
