My uncle came home from the US and he bought me a black Old Navy fleece jacket. I was so happy because I like the style and I have never owned any fleece jackets before. I like it because it’s very comfortable and it fits me well. My uncle really knows me well. I love jackets and he gave me what I really like.

Shopping for any items in a department store is now made easy these days. Shop owners have made everything very convenient especially when it comes to payment of the products purchased. Way back in my grade school years, I remember shopping for groceries takes too much of my mom’s time. She will have to wait on a long queue while each item she buys is encoded in a cash register today. The sales girls on the other hand were now very tired and couldn’t anymore give a smile to their customers.

With the recent advancement in technology, paying is now very convenient. Most of the shops now use Honeywell Barcode Scanner  and everything is done in just a matter of minutes. Sales girls are now very effective in their jobs and they can now provide good service to their clients.

Can you imagine life today without computers? Think about the scenario for a moment: private and public offices without computers; schools without computers; hospitals without computers; airport control towers without computers; train stations without computers; shipping lines without computers; and then let’s bring it to a worst case scenario – computers without Internet access.

Come to think about it, everything we do have become so dependent with computers that without them, things are simply unimaginable. Hence computers have become so invaluable.

Acer Netbooks are preferred by many because they are reasonably priced and readily available in the market. I watched the movie “The Smurfs” last night and I find it cute. It’s a live action and animated family comedy that would truly entertain the family especially the young audiences. I like how they animate these little blue creatures because they look very cute.  I also like Papa Smurf who has a brilliant character in the story. The la-la-la-la song was also cute.

It’s almost everyone’s dream – to own an SLR camera. Why is this so? The primary reason is because people feel and believe that slr cameras take better pictures. Images look better, such as scenes and views. Portraits of people or people in pictures look better when they are taken using an SLR camera as compared to point-and-shoot cameras. But really, are SLR cameras better than point-and-shoot?

In some ways, yes! One advantage of an SLR camera over a point-and-shoot camera is that the former can take pictures even at a considerable distance; at least 18 to 55 millimeters. This is made possible by the high resolution lenses used by even the simplest SLR camera.

SLR cameras, however, are a little expensive. Moreover, unlike ordinary cameras, SLRs are a little more complicated to operate because there are adjustments needed in order to maximize its applications. Such adjustments include for example, aperture and focus – unless the SLR camera is set at automatic, which makes it more like a point-and-shoot camera.
